This project was supposed to be done for the SRQ competition. I used a reference photo of some African American woman dressed up as an African princess. The lady in the picture had bright green eyes so I thought I'd add some color to her eyes to enhance that feature and added some color to her lips because they were already so prominent anyways.

This was the caricature piece we were supposed to do. I drew miley Cyrus because she has such an odd style that I thought would be fun to draw, especially her hair. I think I got her teeth done pretty well. I used graphite which made it easier to shade, but I still need to go back and touch it up.

I did this piece for the project where we were supposed to reference a master artist. I think she turned out pretty well, I like her rosy cheeks. I purposely didn't add eyebrows because the woman in the piece I referenced didn't have eyebrows. I started this project in pencil then colored it with colored pencil.
